It has been crazy busy since last week... and then Christmas this coming weekend... I don't think I will be able to post until next week.

I am wearing this today to do some errands and last minute gift shopping.

Delayed reaction

My outfit posts will be out of whack this week... too many activities going on...

I wore this last Saturday. It was nice and chilly (but not too cold) so I decided to use my trench coat and scarf. Everything in this outfit is from Zara with the exception of the loafers which is courtesy of Wanted. I saw this "outfit" on a Zara mannequin a while back (different shoes though) and I was drawn to the red/tan combo. This trench is from the kids section by the way... perks of being petite... and much cheaper price too! :)

Red splash

Closet item for yesterday was this white blouse from Forever 21. So far it has lasted for more than a year now. For the price of less than $25, the quality is pretty good. I paired it with these red jeans and red ballet flats.

It's Friday I'm in love

Cheesy title but I couldn't think of a better one! Okay so it's everyday I'm in love - ahem to hubby: mother's day is on Sunday :)

This blouse was the last one at F21 a couple of months ago when I was browsing around in there. I found it hidden amongst the hundreds of racks in that huge store PLUS it is a size small! Then I saw it featured in either Lucky Magazine or People Style which made me even more happy for such a great find!

These shoes are not exactly the most comfortable to walk around in especially for someone who is not used to wearing high heels (slowly getting out of my comfort zone). But I love them! I fell in love with them the first time I saw it in Singapore about 5 years ago. For some reason, I didn't buy it though. When I left that country, I couldn't stop thinking about them. So what does a shoe addict do? Ask a friend to buy it for her! Yes, all for the love of shoes!

Color block

So color blocking it is! I decided to give it a shot today. While looking for something bold and bright, I just realized that I really don't have much color in my trouser section. I have a lot of blacks and grays and whites and browns... bleh... I have a pair of red pants and a bright pink 3/4 sleeve sweater (although not quite fuchsia - plus it's cashmere, who would want to wear cashmere in 85F Texas weather?!)... so I passed on that outfit idea...

But I do have this colorful dress! It's too short for the office so I wore my red pants with it and threw in this sweater. Why not? The dress pulled the colors together. I think I was the brightest person at the office today! No pun intended! :)
