Cords

Closet item for yesterday was this rose pink corduroy pants from Banana Republic (bought last year). I was running errands and there is nothing better than being in comfortable clothes especially with a little toddler. So I paired it with these boots from Target ($20!) and one of my favorite knit shirts. I've had this shirt for almost two years now. It was in the mid 80's yesterday but I wore a knit anyway! It was just right inside Crate and Barrel where the A/C was blasting in the upper 60's! :)

A love-hate relationship with Anthropologie

I love the clothes at Anthro... but most of the time my wallet hates them because their clothing is a bit expensive! When I go window shopping, I literally just glance at what is inside that store from the window. I don't even bother going in because I know I will only find clothing that I like that is out of my budget.

But last Sunday, when my lovely hubby gave me the day off (meaning he becomes daddy day-care and I can have my "me, myself and I" time), I decided to stroll around in there. It's so much easier anyway without a huge stroller with me! Their sale section was an additional 40% off the lowest ticketed price! I ended up with so much in the fitting room I had to start doing the "need vs. want" debate. So I left the store with these two items.

This black blouse (as worn in my previous post) retails for $98. It was marked down to $49.95. Then further marked down to $29.95. Plus the 40% off, final price was $17.97!

I fell in love with this pink skirt the moment I laid eyes on it! The retail price was $158. It was marked down to $79.95 then further down to $39.95. Plus the additional 40% off, final price was $23.97! Now how can I just walk away from that?! :)

Perfect Saturdays

Blue sky... sunshine... 85 degrees... perfect day! I can finally feel the weather (slowly) cooling down. I wore this last saturday during a stroll around World Market to get some good cheap wine with hubby and little one. We love that store! I saw some nice bangles on clearance too but decided I can walk away from it! :)

I feel so feminine in this skirt from Zara. It's pink, has lace and ruffles. So I paired it with a feminine blouse (also worn here) and some sandals. The hubby told me I looked nice. What more can a woman ask for? :)

In shades of pink and gray

Today I decided to play around with clothes and accessories I haven't worn for a while. And since we are still on summer mode, I might as well take advantage of it and wear more dresses. I bought this dress at Forever 21 almost two years ago. It was the last one PLUS it was on sale. I love the word SALE! :)

It already has a lot of things going on by itself so I just wore it with simple pearl earrings and this headband (which was on clearance during a black friday sale). The photos make it look like the dress is blue/puple but it actually is dark gray (as shown on the detail photos).

Happy weekend everyone! :)

Flowers in bloom

Today's closet item is this pastel pink cafe capri pants from Jcrew. It was on sale online for $13.99. I am petite so the length was perfect for me - no alterations needed! :) The scarf immediately caught my attention several months ago at World Market. It has shades of pastel pink so I paired it with these pants and one of my favorite wedges. The colors just makes the outfit lively!

from road trips to kiddie parties

The one thing that definitely changed on our weekends now that we have a little one is that there is always a kiddie birthday party at least once a month. My little Sophia is way too sociable! :)

Our neighbor's son across the street turned one today. So I chose these comfortable pants for the occasion... wore it with a black tank, black flats and this light pink sweater to lighten up the outfit a bit.

Two more birthdays to go for April!
